WHY WE USE PREDOMINANTLY OAK
Well seasoned oak, because of its high density, burns slow and hot giving more Kilowatt Hours (KWH) of heating per m3 than any other European timber species, thus providing greater efficiencies and better value. It also makes a lovely bed of glowing embers!
Our logs are delivered in large mesh sided bags that typically carry 1m3 of firewood. Larger than the standard log bag (0.65m3) our bags mean that we can process more efficiently and share the savings with the customer. Our logs are stored undercover with the average moisture content at point of sale being around 20%. If you would like any other information please contact us below.
